Swine Flu – H1N1 Info

Is there any relation between the swine flu and the one during ww1?

Is there any relation between the swine flu and the one during ww1? could the swine flu become similar to the one from chickens during ww1?

They are both H1N1 strains. Appears to be less virulent than 1918 strain.
