swine flu drinking alcohol
Can i drink alcohol the night before i have my swin flu jab?
Im 15, have Asthma & have already had Swine Flu, I would like to go out with friends and party/drink the night before and maybe even that night. I get my injection at 9:40am On Saturday? Please help
It would not be the first choice. The alcohol will depress your immune system slightly. I have recently been diagnosed with adult asthma, I’m 62; and no. I would not put my body at extra risk.But that is the RN side of me. As a mom amd grandmother, I would ask if your parents know you are drinking at age 15. I grew up being allowed to have a sip of what ever my parents had, and never was interested in going out and ‘partying’ the night away. Life is too precious to waste it partying with alcohol and/or drugs. Go out, have fun with your friends. But if you’ve been partying for a while already, you know the results of a hangover. That;s not to mention the damage drinking or doing drugs does to your body, damages your liver, puts the kidney under stress, messes with your brain cells. So think about it: is this the way you want to live your life? The most and fastest addiction is the nicotine in cigarettes, next, for most, would be alcohol. Not a cool way to handle your problems.
